On January 9th, we celebrated our 4th Annual Freedom Council Gala at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Sponsored by Anthem, NASCO, IBM, and many others, this annual event focused on celebrating and catalyzing business engagement in the fight to end human trafficking. Freedom Council & AFRJ leadership shared about the successes and milestones from the past year and the plans for 2020, including updates from our Student Council! Additionally, attendees heard first-hand accounts from survivor advocate Rachel Thomas, and celebrity advocate Jeannie Mai, about the realities of human trafficking in Atlanta and around the world, and the critical importance of business engagement to help end it. It was a truly impactful evening for all.
