Despite the challenges that 2020 has brought to students, the members of our Student Council have kept going strong and increasing their impact!! This fall term, they’ve been hard at work to lay a new foundation for monthly growth and action for their growing members across the nation, meeting bi-weekly to make it so.
Each month, they focus on a new topic related to combatting human trafficking, with a three-fold approach to Learning More, Taking Action, and Mobilizing Others. This month, their topic was to explore Myths v. Facts in social media settings regarding human trafficking, and next month, they’ll rally around the world of Freedom Businesses.
